Interview with Yael Rosenstock, founder, Kaleidoscope Vibrations

Yael Rosenstock, is the founder of Kaleidoscope Vibrations, co-founder of QC-sexploration at Queen’s college. Yael is a sexologist, author, speaker, and curriculum developer dedicated to creating and nurturing spaces of inclusion, care, and self-exploration. Since starting her company, Kaleidoscope Vibrations, LLC, Yael has published her first book, “An Introguide to a Sex Positive You: Lessons, Tales, and Tips” and is working on a collaborative body positive photo-interview series entitled Diverse Bodies Project. Moreover, she is one of our collaborators and always been there guiding Tickle.life along this journey of normalising the topic of sex and sexuality.

Yael’s book “An Introguide to a Sex Positive You: Lessons, Tales, and Tips” has three primary sections self awareness, communication and exploration. In order to have positive sexual experience it is most important to know yourself. Are or kinky or vanilla? Bottom or top? Giver or taker? What is your gender identity? The need for communication with yourself and your partner to have positive sexual experiences. It is important to explore your vulnerability and intimacy.

Various support groups are created to discuss topics like kink and virginity. These groups create support systems to validate their idea and make them feel normal. There are many buried in false sexual ideas such as orgasms are the end goal of sex, male orgasms are superior to female orgasms, etc. Yael creates a sexual identity salon for people to discover themselves and their own identities, not necessarily to label themselves. She talks about the need to voice your needs and not try to do what is “cool”.

In her book, she shares her journey of both sexual trauma and pleasure giving people a chance to experience her journey. Find out more in this video as we talk to Yael.
