Hypnosis and Sexuality Counseling - Dr. Amy Marsh

Welcome! Our work together takes place in a “no shame zone.” We can talk about anything that is adult and consensual and I will do my best for you. Our work is usually short-term. My practice is LGBTQIA+, kink, and polyam welcoming. My services include:
1. Sexuality counseling and adult sex ed for concerns such as dysfunctions (unreliable erections, vaginismus, pelvic organ prolapses, orgasm difficulties); sexual communication; desire discrepancies; support for gender diversity; sexual enrichment; sexual lifestyles and orientations; body image; guilt and shame, etc.
2. Hypnosis for sexual and gender concerns, as above, combined with counseling.
3. Erotic Hypnosis classes for sexual partners who would like to add more fantasy fun and sparkle to their relationships.
4. Other classes and workshops on intimacy topics.
5. Hypnosis to support lactation for breast/chestfeeding parents, and to relieve postpartum stress.
6. Also, general hypnosis for wellness and health.
Note: My gender nonbinary pronouns are “ze” and “zir” but I also still use she/her at times.
ABOUT THE COACH
Amy Marsh, Ed.D, DHS, CH, CI is a board-certified clinical sexologist through the American College of Sexologist; an AASECT-certified sexuality counselor; a certified hypnotist and hypnosis instructor through the National Guild of Hypnotists. Ze has been in practice since 2008. Zir doctorates are both in Human Sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (2008, 2011). Ze was certified as a hypnotist in 2008 and as a hypnosis instructor in 2013.
Dr. Marsh is the founder and lead instructor for the Intimate Hypnosis Training Center and offers advanced professional training in Hypnosis for Sexual Problems (150 hours) as well as hypnosis certification. Dr. Marsh is also a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist through Lactation Education Resources (LER) (2016). Ze has worked as a postpartum doula prior to zir work in sexology.
Dr. Marsh is a published writer, columnist, and podcaster in the area of human sexuality and culture. Ze has presented a several conferences. Ze has appeared on national television (Good Morning America; Tyra Banks; National Geographic Taboo; Australia’s Channel 7 Sunday Night), podcasts, and media.

ABOUT HYPNOSIS
Western-style Hypnosis is the art and science of using natural shifts in human brain wave states to deliver positive suggestions that support sexual health and wellness; general health and wellness; and personal growth and transformation.
