Let’s Talk About... Resistance

Resistance is something that can happen to any one of us (and often does every day!), in terms of resisting both external stuff and our internal motivation. But the thing is that when we resist ourselves, we make life more difficult in the long-run; for example, we can have all the dreams we like but unless we’re willing to get out of our own way and put in the effort, we won’t be able to turn them into reality. Choosing to work through your resistance (and I explore how to do that in this episode) is essential because that enables to you then take steps towards turning your goals and priorities into reality. So this week I’m talking about what resistance is, why overcoming resistance is essential for your mental health, and how to resist less and grow more.
