Dr. James Wadley is Professor and Chair of the Counseling and Human Services Master of Human Services department at Lincoln University. As a scholar-practitioner, he is a licensed professional counselor and maintains a private practice in the States of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Dr. Wadley is the host of the Journal of Black Sexuality and Relationships Podcast series.

The Journal of Black Sexuality and Relationships by University of Nebraska Press is an interdisciplinary journey exploring intersectionality, racial identity, gender, religion and sexuality, parenting and so much more! James Wadley, the editor is chief of JBSR shares his journey through creating this journal. He has engaged with sexuality research, how masculinity is constructed among black men, roles of non custodial parents, sexuality among people of colour and various other related fields. The Journal of Black Sexuality and Relationships is especially relevant since the social justice movement. There is support and discourse around how people of colour are treated in our society. The journal addresses sensitive issues about people of colour , sex trafficking, HIV/ Aids prevention, etc. It also served as the foundation to start The association of black sexologists and clinicians.
