Nawaaz (he/him) is an educator with a passion for destigmatizing conversations about sexuality, sensuality, relationships, gender, and mental health, especially for those with intersectional identities. Growing up as a person of color (POC) and part of a religious family, he realized that faith communities and ethnic minority communities don’t offer many opportunities for people to ask questions about something so central to our lives! It is important for Nawaaz to re-channel oppressive sentiments of fear, repression, guilt, shame, and judgement into feeling empowered in our identities. He wants to celebrate our lived experiences by creating safe spaces for people to talk, ask questions and help make informed decisions.
