Mita Bhattacharjee is a Master of Science and Master of Philosophy in Botany from Delhi University and a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India and an Associate from the Chartered Insurance Institute, London. She worked in a public sector insurance company for 34 years and took voluntary retirement as Deputy General Manager in 2014. In her free time, she reads, swims, and takes long walks in the wilderness.
