Humor and sex talk: Why not light the fire with Garv Malik?

Who does not love to laugh their heads out?

Humor has been creating an impact for centuries. We, knowingly or unknowingly, use it as a coping mechanism to deal with our problems. That is one of the reasons why most of us enjoy laughing on dark and tragic matters.

Humor can not only lighten the mood and bring sprouts of laughter. They have a social function that helps in creating an emotional response in each one of us. It assists in breaking taboos and building conversations.

The impact of sarcasm and comedy is beyond what words can describe. Anver Zv, through his book, Personality, and Sense of Humor, focuses on the power of humor in creating change.

Through our workshop, we are stepping towards a change that can help in building communication and relationships. For the first time in India, we are here to light the fire and curate an understanding of sexual chemistry, desire, and more.

Here, we bring in a blend of thought-provoking discussions, sessions, and, at the same time, the "laughter effect." Humor, to not just lighten the mood but to curate deep and thoughtful conversations that can help you grow.

We will have Garv Malik, who has been questioning the status quo through his standup comedy, with us. He creates fabulous and, at the same time, thought-provoking content on diverse platforms.

Well, he was with us on our Tweet Chat yesterday too.

Missed it?

Don't worry! We have got it for you right here.

We kickstarted the conversation with a question that contains a lot of relevance in our society. It is something that has been out there. But, most of us are not ready to discuss it as it is part of the so-called "taboo." Maybe, we have to whisper it!

Why is sex education still a taboo in India?

"Because there is no examination for it. Keep an exam and parents will teach them and get them tuitions."

Garv has pointed at something serious through his comment. Yes, the lack of sex education is evident in our society. He states that people would consider its importance if we incorporate it into our textbooks.

So, how can we open up the discussion and remove this taboo?

This is something we have to think about.

To bring in the fun element, our next question to Garv was-

What do you think about 'Babaji Ka Thullu'?

"It means nothing also like my sex life."

Don't you think it just lightened the mood?

While talking about our workshop, you might still be wondering why a comedian? If so, this question has the answer to it.

Describe yourself in one line and your role as a co host in the #beyondthebasics workshop?

"I'm here to ensure that everyone else's questions seem smart."

Next, our question for Garv is something most of us might be searching on the Internet. So, here it is.

You visit a gynecologist for women-related sexual issues. Whom do you visit for sexual issues of men?

"Baba Bangali near the Railway Station.

I am kidding.

We watch porn.

It doesn't. This is why we need experts. Not a comedian."

Garv has stated a fact, and that is the reason we have brought together the best sex experts who can answer your questions through our exclusive workshop.

Finally, we wanted to know Garv's perspective on -

Why Indians spend more on cosmetics than sexual wellness products?

"Because you cannot make reels using sex toys, only cosmetics."

With a whiff of sarcasm, Garv has provided us with plenty of thought food for us to think about. By the way, he will be with us at our workshop, Light My Fire, so don't forget to register yourself.

Book yourself a spot to enrich your understanding of desire, sexual pleasure, and chemistry with a touch of humor, NOW!
