Episode 3: For the Love of Objects - New Science & Objectum Sexuality

For over ten years (and more), Objectum Sexuals have been under the media microscope--often the targets of sensationalism and ridicule. In 2010 Dr. Amy did a brief survey of 21 Objectum Sexuals and wrote an article about the results. This led to appearances on Good Morning America &Tyra Banks in 2009, National Geographic Taboo in 2010, and in 2019, Australia's Channel 7 Sunday Night. Based mostly on qualitative data in the survey, Dr. Amy proposed a few hypothesis about OS and later created an online "Clinician's Guide to OS."
